“What would I create if I change places to paint or make clothes? How would it affect to my creation? How could I let the situation drive my creation, not with just knowledge or in my head?” Kaori is the kind of artist that let curiosity lead her to abstract expressionism.
From this spring, Kaori can be found performing live painting and spontaneous garments making at club events. Recently, she also took up the streets as her stage. To be sensitive to the atmosphere of the place, sound, smell, the temperature of the colors— that is what she wants to respect in her creations.

今年の春より、クラブのイベント等で布にライブペインティングをし、そこからライブで服を作るパフォーマンスを始める。
最近は路上でも行っている。その場の空気感や音、色の温度や感覚を肌で感じながら描き、そこからどんな服が生まれていくのか。一瞬一瞬の感情的・抽象的なものがどう形になっていくのか、
探検をしながら生み出していくような“もの作り”を目指している。
